Helen Kagin Memorial

One of our plaintiffs, Helen Kagin, passed away on February 17, 2010.   She is also the wife of our attorney Edwin Kagin. Her memorial is scheduled for April 24 in Cincinnati. See the information below for more details.

(January 31, 1934 – February 17, 2010) 


Helen Kagin was a heroine of the Freethought movement.  Along with her husband, Edwin, she co-founded CAMP QUEST, a secular summer camp for non-believer youngsters.  She and Edwin were recipients of the ATHEIST OF THE YEAR AWARD from American Atheists, and she was 

active in numerous Freethought projects for more than two decades.  



This will be a casual, fun celebration in the spirit of potluck. 

If you can bring a dish, let us know.  The venue is
